A Huge Thank-You and a Happy New Year

I’m blown away. As of the close of our campaign,

414 backers pledged $20,699 to bring Let Us Build a Tower to life!

In 30 days, we hit all six ambitious stretch goals and found an enthusiastic audience on five different continents. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. Your faith in this project means the world. And like all of you, I can’t wait to see LUBAT come to gaming tables around the world. 

What’s next?

Kickstarter takes a few weeks to collect all pledges and process payments. Once those are in, expect a Backerkit survey to arrive in your email inbox around mid-to-late January.

We’ll be using Backerkit to collect addresses and shipping fees, as well as to deliver digital rewards. Don’t worry if you move before Let Us Build a Tower ships! Backerkit allows you to update the shipping address you’ve provided, so long as it’s before the packing cutoff date. We’ll send you a reminder well in advance of that deadline.

In the meantime, I’ll be working diligently to get LUBAT and all its stretch goals to you in their very best form. While unforeseeable delays are always possible, we have a clear path to production, and I fully expect to meet our delivery estimates. If all goes well, backers will receive digital previews well in advance of those.

If you’re reading this and are not a backer—perhaps sad that you missed your chance—don’t worry! You’ll have an opportunity to preorder extra copies of the book via Backerkit. They’ll be shipping after backer copies. Keep an eye out on our Kickstarter page for the preorder link, or sign up for our mailing list at LetUsBuildATower.com.

I’ve backed the exciting project Brain Duster by Barry Bruner of Bad Alchemy. It promises to take tabletop players on a hallucinatory journey through twisted realities in a mind-bending hex crawl. Sounds like my kind of adventure!  

The art looks amazing, with psychedelic designs melting and blending their way into a beautiful color-soaked layout. Brain Duster can be experienced as a stand alone adventure or as a sensory detour from an ongoing campaign world.

The Character Generator is now unlocked!

With that, our next and final stretch goal has been revealed. At the $20,000 mark, we’ll unlock a 5e Conversion Kit for the world’s most popular roleplaying game. This PDF will provide everything you need to run LUBAT not only in your classic and OSR systems of choice, but for your friends and family who prefer a Fifth Edition flavor as well.
